I have asked Ian @ viper to make one to suit my needs,
choice of baffle (oulton friendly and "other") and designed to exit under the bike and not route in the conventional way (cheaper and can be made fatter to suit the top end requirements)

Well i have spent quite a few hours pottering in the garage working on the bike, stripping it, building it, wiring it, cleaning it.
The bike is now at an advanced stage and about as far as i can go personally before it goes off for the custom pipe and primary gears made and fitted.

So with the bike stripped it was of course soaked in ACF50 and left to go everywhere making for a slippy floor and everything coated in a mist of oily residue. All of the excess was cleaned off and bits started to get bolted back on.

First thing was the side stand - having the box lift stand is ok for some jobs but a pain in the arse when you want to wheel it around a bit or work on the right hand side of the bike.
Replaced the front sprocket with the 14 tooth item, i did offer the 15 up and it fits, however the case saver would be removed and i am not happy about the risk this brings to the engine cases.
Rear wheel fitted and chain fitted. Rear sprocket was spaced 2 mm and it made a bit of a difference to be honest, another 1mm would be preferable to clear the tyre
Front wheel fitted, speedo sensor refitted and old fork guards (already cut to fit)
JB Racing ECU fitted and map switch.
Megahorn fitted - fuck me it's loud. needed for an MOT
Aftermarket Enduro rear plastics fitted and seat unit.
Brake banjo switches fitted and brakes bled.
Now here was the time consuming bit, i made a simple wiring loom to give me both power and back light for the clocks, but with front and rear brake light switches and the LED brake light - it all runs from the self generated power so no need for a battery or extra hassle.
The best bit was to test it, and to test the loom worked it would of course mean the bike needed to be fired up. This was the first time it has been run in many years so after a couple of litres of premix chucked in to the bone dry tank i thought i was in for a bit of a battle.
How wrong it was, 3 kicks (1 kicked me back) and it fired and ran and settled down right away. Even better was my delight to see the dashboard light up and the brake lights working on either brake - happy fucking days.
So after thinking i should have checked if there was actually water and oil in the bike first i stopped the motor - and sure enough there was, fresh oil and nice green coolant.

So there was are. Most of the bike is done for now and it's ready for it's MOT tomorrow so wish me luck

Left to do

Register the bike. NOVA number granted, Dating certificate on the way, MOT tomorrow - all being well i could be riding this on the road soon
Make another loom based on this for the other bike (the 03 model) and clean this one up a little bit.
get the new Aim MYCHRON 5 dashboard and get ready for a EGT sensor.
Get the new exhaust system made and routed under the bike to suit
Custom primary drive gears to allow a higher top speed and more choice on the rear sprockets to suit.
a few cosmetic bits and bobs to assist riding on the road
And now for the pics - we all like pictures - hope you enjoy looking as this as much as i do.
