Post by ned » 03 Apr 2015, 22:27

I was goin to start this thread on the old site but I have only recently returned after a good year away from the Forum.glad I didn't now.just wanted to get my feet back under the table before coming out with what has been a year long project in the making. I am hoping for 190-200 bsp at the wheel and at least 100 lbs of torque.
Hope woody doesn't see this after what he spent on hid big bore.
I will put some pics up when I work out how to from my phone.

Welcome back and glad you found us ok. Project sounds interesting - am looking forward to pics!

As for Woody, the jammy little b*****d didn't pay a sausage for his big bore conversion - he won it in a Christmas raffle. I'm now hoping that I find a Ducati Desmo in my Christmas cracker this year...

I'm just hoping I haven't paid road tax for the year for a bike that's been sat idle for half of it.
He is a jammy sod though, has a hot ginger misses too (and won't swop)

It was on the Aprilia forum we're both members of.

Is that the AF1 racing forum. I'm on there. Ive got a bit of a dilemma as to what's the right direction in carb sync. There's so many diferent opinions on what gives the best results
