Been offered some asv levers, what's the difference between them and my Hong Kong Specials.. Worth spending or no benefit ??

Do a bit of research into aluminium. Look at the mine field of ways it can be attacked and that which has to be done to avoid catastrophic failure. Then ask yourself, do you want to get a component for your machine which is produced in a country that is undergoing an industrial revolution and in doing so causing a world recession, which subsequently cannibalising it's own a economy, that I understand is now, is a worst state than Greece's.

Asv are quality levers.

for the price of asv the fit in the perch is fucking shameful!!!!!

Managed to break my brake lever in a sub 30mph crash. So don't believe the hype of being unbreakable.

..in many cases the 'Chinese' levers are fine - a massive chunk of vehicle components are made there - BUT you have no idea who made them and what with ( whereas trusted 'brands' do build in some quality control and domestic testing).

The biggest issue I've Come across on other forums is the connection they have with the bikes hydraulics - brake plunger / piston connections etc - worse case, someone's lever came back to the bar as the 'plunger' wasn't seated correctly - careful fitting corrected it.

I run Pazzos - top gear, robust, no issues - more adjustable than stock - win/win !

Pazzo and CRG are both superior to ASV IMHO.

gotta agree here, Pazzos do have a real nice feel about them ..I used a Brembo lever on the brake and a Pazzo on the clutch on the HP4 lovely feel
