I'm no expert on clutches but has the thrust bearing, clutch bush and basket bearings gone back in ok??

Only reason i ask is that i soaked the benelli one for a week in fresh oil but when it came to refitting a washer from behind the basket had fallen off into the oil and i thought i'd lost it. Replaced with a similar (but not exact) and it caused major slippage.

I've not removed the basket just the plates n springs.

Having changed the plates, have you adjusted the clutch push rod to match.

Have some frazzles.

Wont fix the clutch but you will feel better.
