It's not a BMW, so I wouldn't expect it to be tooooo drastic.

had a problem with my reg/rec twice ( brand new one also failed after a year), buy a honda one, its not hard to get it to fit, can use the original loom connector from your old reg/rec, there's loads of info on SV forums.

Also, for a battery, if your not already using one, get a gel one, got one in mine, they're cheap enough and supposed to be way better :)

I'm not sure it is that yet until I have a look..I connected to the car with jump leads and it wouldn't fire up either...it was just spinning overImage
