Cbr600 f2 rear conversion

Hi guys I've recently acquired a 600f2 (1992) and I've read in various places about changing the rear end but no one really goes in to to much detail

I'm thinking of turning this bike into a streetfighter so I want to make it a single seat and put a better looking rear end on

Just haven't a clue what would go on without to much hassle as I've never welded in my life

Aby help would be muchly appreciated

Did you need to do any mods to the subframe or did it go straight on? And could I be cheeky ad ask for a picture Image

Yes, you have to mod your subframe.
They do it all the time in America and it is well documented.
However you have to spend a long time lining things up otherwise it will just end up looking shit.

I don't run an undertail exhaust, I use a standard exhaust (not mounted yet in picture)
I use tool tubes instead, they are waterproof tubes that I keep spares/things in.

I still have little snaggy bits to go over and make better (like the rear indicator mounts etc)

Standard top yoke, dropped 25mm.
Attached to the fork legs are bolt on fork leg risers.

Saves me drilling the OEM top yoke!
