Been running an Aliant lightweight lithium for a while now. All good. The bosch prior was seriously weighty by comparison.

What cost are they compared with OEM? any other considerations apart from weight?

OK, they're not cheap. http://www.bandcexpress.co.uk/buy/Alian ... 14.001#eq1

However, they are a 3rd the size opening up the battery compartment to other uses. Bulbs, fuses, breatherizers, puncture kits or a second battery for lesuire. Tent lights and music for example.
