R1 14B (2010) throttle body sync help
Hi guys, me and my brother are trying to sync his tb's however we cannot find out which throttle body should be the base/master/one to go off, does anyone know?
Having a look all seem to have adjuster screws so I can't tell from that. TB #2 has a blue spot marked on it, I've seen from a vid he used #3 and I'm sure I've read someone using #1 so were really not sure lol. Can anyone shed some light?

One should be the one with manual adjuster then single one at side then other inside one then furthest if I remember correctly
Another way is push the butterfly open if all four open that's 1 three open that's 2 two open that's 3 the only one your pushing opens that's 4

Ah nice, thanks SMUDGER, I didn't know about testing it.
Is that the same for all bikes then, as in, it's always number 1 to be used as the master?

Yes ad throttle controls number one only number one controls num 2 num 2 controls num 3 num 3 controls 4 hence why there is screws to adjust when they are all open
And if no one is correcting me I must be right how very strange lol

Okay, final question , what do you adjust number one to if it can be adjusted, from the tutorials I've seen, you don't adjust the 'master', only the other 3 to match it.
Re: R1 14B (2010) throttle body sync help
Use a feeler gauge or guitar string put in number one butterfly tighten so it starts to drag then do same to num 2 then 3 then 4 they are now in sync.
Now depending on what size gauge or string you used grab the manual adjuster get ready to turn that knob down lol.
But when I sync I turn the manual knob all way down then turn it half turn start bike then adjust the knob to correct revs if it won't start turn up half turn more etc
Or may way I start with throttle and hold throttle at 2k and just adjust manual up till it holds revs
But if you use a thick gauge or string as soon you start the revs will be high
