Cb 500 electric issue

So this has got me stumped using old and new battery fully charged bike cranks over first time, on tic over just over 12 volts showing give some revs over 14 volt showing left over night battery dead disconnect battery fully charged left overnight re connect it starts???
Anyone have any ideas

Sounds like the bike is drawing power while standing.
Has it got an alarm?

If you've got a meter that measures amps connect it in series at the battery +ve with the ignition off and see how much current flows. If it's above 0.2 amps Start to unplug things (reg/rec clocks, ignition) when you find the component with the drain the current should drop off significantly,

So the wire removal and new battery didn't solve issue same again after a week fully charged starts straight away left over night first crank if I catch it on revs it starts if I dint catch on first crank over refuses to start and feels like fooled battery further inspection old battery 4a 50cca new battery 4.2a 50cc

Omfg smudger u knob that's like starting a truck with a car battery so new 8a 175cca battery will be orderef
