this is how the bike was returned. this is it atm. the engine works and there was no knocking.
there was a strange buzzy noise when in tried the electric start. like a jammed solenoid type sound so had to kick it over. any ideas?

What's the battery state?

Battery is dead, ive used a jump starter to power the bike.
Have had the battery on charge for like a day and a half, but still showing only one yellow dot.

Guess thats going to be added to the list.

Got a new starter relay today in the post and rich is arranging to come over to weld the exhaust, (TY very much Rich), if it's possible that is.
All being well, i'll then get a new battery and have a working machine.
I'll be looking for the replacement part of the wiring loop or maybe just solder and seal the cut parts?
They are in a prone place so don't want them getting shorts so would preferes to replace.
Once the important parts are taken care of, and it starts off the button, I need to look at things I can repair myself, like the fairing damage and replacing reflectors and the wing mirrors. I'll have to cut the Diablos off as they are ruined and the wires are severed. Ill replace with original handgrips.
The petrol tank locking cap is ruined so will have to replace that, as is the front mudguard. I will get them last. There isn't anything useable left of them.
All in all, its a sad thing to have to do, but its also a learning curve for me, and an unfortunate opportuninty to take stock and find stuff out. I loved my little bike, but I have another bike too now. Onwards and upwards.
