Drying out an open top
Mrs left her soft top down all night in the pissing rain. Any ideas how to dry it out? Engines on, heater is on and windows open an inch.

I'd get a valet done first as you'll get watermarks and it'll smell.

It's the stupid place Merc' put the button on the key fob. She ran in in the rain and must have caught it when locking. Noise of the rain, she never heard the motor opening the roof. Happy daze.lee wrote:Oh shit.

Re: Drying out an open top
I left my MG roof down once whilst at work all day and the same happened.
I took the carpets and sound matt up and hung them out to dry in my garage for a few days and dried the floor with a towel before heaters on etc.
Also put a de-humidifier in whilst the heater was on.
I sold mine to bradders last year and i think he'll still have it of you need to borrow one.

Yeo de humidifier! Neighbours car had the rear window smash by a lorry overnight and it was soaked by the morning, hung anything we could to dry and left the dehumidifier on for 2 days with the car sealed. Worked a treat
