Dual braking

I've seen this type of braking on a couple of bikes I.e, blackbird.
How easy would this be to do.
Could I just get 2 longer banjo bolts extra washers and a new brake line straight from front lever to back kinda like a front race braided setup or would it be more?

And more importantly is it worth it???

My varadero has dual brakes. It isn't simple. Each caliper has three pots two for the brake you use plus one for the other brake. The front works the rear by a second valve. A real pain to bleed as you have to bleed in a certain order. Worth doing? Worth having if fitted to your bike but not worth retro fitting.

Your brain is connected to your foot and hand... At least usually... You can apply both brakes at will

Should you not question why many owners remove the dual braking systems?
Unless it's ABS.

Do you know the ratio of pressure required to apply the brakes to the correct force.

Why do you want to do it, the front should be all you ever need, ever tried stopping a bike quickly on just a rear brake?

On you calipers the.cylinders are linked. On a linked caliper one of the cylinders is segregated. So you would need a full system off a CBRXX. That, unless you go for the old Guzzi method (psst, which was shit).

Just looked into it the later pans have dual braking and it's nearly a straight swap would need later lower fork legs.

Question was what are the benefits

If you use the foot lever does it also operate the front brake? Or only the other way round ?

It's a bit smarter than that on the Honda and up market old Guzzi. The operation of the front calipers is pressure controlled, as in it doesn't operate the front caliper at manoeuvring pressures
