Re: Front Brakes Rubbing
Jusr looked to see how you was getting on. Surpurised you can here them at speed. If the calipers free off after brake applying and allow the wheel to spin there can't be too much wrong. Sent wrestling with Tapatalk. It might just be me being overly cautious, I can only hear it with my visor open a...

Re: Front Brakes Rubbing
Thanks for the help fellas I cleaned them up with my dad today everything moving nice and freely. All the seals are fine and it looks like I need some new pads as they've been wearing unevenly so I've ordered some. The wheels spins freely with a little rubbing and I can still hear the noise at speed...

Re: Front Brakes Rubbing
That's great thanks very much! Hopefully there's no split gators as I won't have any to hand and I doubt I'll be getting any on a Friday evening.

Re: Front Brakes Rubbing
It doesn't stop the wheel spinning but it does feel like it's slowing it down a bit and I can hear it when I'm riding and let off the throttle.lee wrote:Hearing the pads on the disc is normal.
They should still allow the wheel to spin freely though.

Front Brakes Rubbing
I'm having a bit of a problem with my front brakes, It's only started since weekend when I took the bike on a proper run out. When I lift the front up I can hear it when I rotate the wheel, any ideas on how I can fix this or what things can I check to see the cause?

Re: What have you done today?
It was yesterday, but my old fella took me up to Ravens on my first ride out and treated me to a breakky. Was great 100 mile round trip, got me wanting a bigger bike now though .
