Re: Hi Again
I do like the super adventure bikes; KTM Super Adventure and BMW R1200 GS Adventure. Although I'm getting to the stage in my life where I want to get rid of all my toys and only have 1 bike and 1 car to worry about. I managed to sell the CBX750F, so I'm down to 2 bikes (2015 GSXR 1000 and 2003 VFR 8...

How so?Cabernet wrote:I can't even cope with an adventurer for more than a few hours in comfort.
I thought adventure bikes were very comfortable due to their intended nature; sitting in the saddle for long periods of time, on a daily basis.

He's still taking pics as a business; Shootin' it photography (have a look on Facebook).
He sold his bike to afford a car for his business and transport his kids.

Re: bike advice for smudger
I'd steer clear of that Ducati; it looks nothing like an original 900SS - the headlight looks like it's been lifted from a 999. Ignore Richie, he's trying to put you off Ducati ownership so he can claim to be the only Ducatisto on NWB [emoji23] I'm happy being a Dick Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk...

Re: Gsxr 600 loss of power
Happens to me all the time when I'm bouncing off the rev limiter! [emoji23] Check earth/negative connection yourself, to make sure it's not a dodgy connection before parting with a load of cash for someone else to fix. Occasionally in high revs the bike appears to lose power whilst accelerating, it'...

Re: bike advice for smudger
Ducati's are nice to look at, although a 900SS isn't the prettiest Ducati. Personally I'd give the Ducati a swerve and get a good, reliable bike. I'm currently riding a Honda VFR800 (it suits my commuting needs) while my 2015 MotoGP replica Suzuki GSX-R 1000 sulks in the garage unridden (only really...

You forgot to mention the crankshaft sensors [emoji6] Ok ok,not an 08 but a lad at work is selling cheap. Personally i wouldn't ever buy a vauxhall, always Ford. Vauxhall always have problems with cam shaft sensors amongst other issues and poor locks that break easily without warning. Won't Say anyo...

Re: Lexmoto Arizona 125.
That's a very in depth review of your Lexmoto Arizona, thanks John. I was asking after your thoughts on the Lexmoto because I bought my nephew an AJS Regal Raptor with very low mileage (less than 300 miles if I recall correctly). The AJS wasn't very smooth to ride and the camshaft snapped around the...
