Re: Cbr 650F or Cbr 600f
A friend bought a new CB650f in Jan, took till June for him to run it in, yawn yawn Mr Honda says this.
As soon as he opened it up after run in, his answer was to go and swap it for a CB1000f.
It seems the reviews were right about it being a capable commuter, end of.

Re: Bike suggestions
Many bikes about for that sort of price. GSF750? Fazer1000s. Why the hang up with mileage, if it's got less than 20K on a 15 year old bike it's spent most of it's time sitting around, started and run then left to condensate, not serviced for years etc etc. Mileage of over 30k is fook all on most bik...
Re: Ktm 990
Had mine for over 4 years now, yes they have some issues but all credit to KTM they sort em. The one you were looking at was probably fine, the rattle from cold was most likely one of the cam chains. when the oil level gets a bit low the tensioners empty so rattle on start up, not a great prob TBH. ...

The drive shaft from the engine to the front sprocket. I'm saying nothing cause if you weren't being sarcastic you need to beat yourself throughly Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk So that would be the lay shaft then. :D Lowest form of wit, I don't wink at everyone. But I shall still whip myself...

Re: Chain replacement.
Why would you need to change the chain if you have a drive shaft?Fronkey wrote:Don't split the chain until you have undone the front sprocket nut.
If it's really tight you can chock the back wheel and lock the drive shaft in place whilst you undo it.

Re: What have you done today?
Went on the RTTW.
Unofficial group ride down, even had one roundabout blocked by an unmarked police car. Put his lights on and waved us through, respect.
Over 7000 bikes attended, emotional atmosphere and well organised.

Re: What have you done today?
Last minute decision for a ride today.
Hooked up with a local group, and had a guided tour of a few cafe's. Last one being Crossgates.
A483?
Why not, nearly empty road blast to Newtown.
