now this may not go down to well but if you are scared of riding perhaps bikes were never your thing,i could loose my legs and would try to ride again.

no smudge you cant drop the crank through the sump as you need to split the crankcases,only viable option is taking the head off

yeah i try to do all my own bike related stuff,makes me laugh when people dont have the confidence to do minor mechanics, i'm self taught, but was brought up on 2 strokes so for years never mauled with a 4 stroke engine,but then again i never had to, but recently took my cams out to reshim mi blackb...
