Insurance premium result with Bennetts
Today I started playing the usual game of getting insurance quotes for my Tiger 800. I was expecting about £200 to £300 for the annual premium. As usual IAM insurance was not a contender. (They offer competitive home insurance though.) The first 4 I tried were all between £400 and £650 and I was get...

Road Tax - Vehicle Excise Duty
Hi folks, Just after some advice. The tax on my Tiger is up for renewal from the 1st of March but I won't be riding it until the 1st of May as I'll still be on my old F650. I was thinking about putting it SORN until then but the next bit I'm not sure about as I've always paid for either 6 or 12 mont...

Well done to Sam Sunderland
I've been watching the Dakar Rally for years and I really enjoy it. So it was great to see this years bike Dakar won by Sam Sunderland. Lyndon Poskitt managed a very brake 39th in the mal moto class. I've got to say some of the performances in the cars and trucks were incredible. I;d love to get a c...

Re: Lancashire - 8 average speed camera sites coming.
That's a poor attitude. It's attitudes and worse still, the verbalization of such attitudes like that that give the rest of us a bad name. Tut tut. Ha ha. Just stating the obvious; that bikers can concentrate on the road rather than watching speedometers. Relying on the sound of the engine to ensur...

Re: Lancashire - 8 average speed camera sites coming.
From looking at their website there is a more than decent chance that the average speed cameras will be facing the front of vehicles and not the back (as at the Cat and Fiddle) so there's a good chance we won't need to be as careful as car drivers.
