Re: Anyone else get jitters

Sounds to me like a vicious cycle you need to break. Go back to basics. Focus on relaxing your grip on the bars, keeping your elbows loose, get away from traffic and pick a windless day. Just what I was thinking. You should let the bike move about under you, remember it will always want to return u...

Nice numbers, looks great....

But the MV Agusta Dragster 800 RR LH has this beaten by many a mile on the design.

Re: Thoughts?

Gilles say not. :( Just had a look at their clip-ons. They spec 50mm for the earlier bike and 51mm for the latter. http://www.gillestooling.com/cms/shop/products/art-4404/handlebar-gp-light" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Well it was a guess. With a 1mm difference I think it would fi...

Re: Thoughts?

Anything is possible.

I'll guess the diameters are the same so you can use the existing clamps.

You could use 10mm spacers for the calipers, so no need to change them, as long as the pad contact area is the same

You might also need the later wheel spacers if the fork bottoms are different.

Re: Piston rings

I'd be looking at the valve guides and seals first, Oil from the headers is known as slobber and usually caused by ticking over/slow running for long periods without blipping the throttle. Oil can build in the rocker covers and flood the valves it will then drain past the guides. It will also smoke ...

Wow a custom maggot.

Looks tidy for it's age.

Re: Anyone know what happened....

The first thing to do is rule out the 'idiot factor' something we all suffer from.

What's been done to the bike recently?

Had you washed it?

Have you removed any parts and replaced them?

Re: Anyone know what happened....

Sounds like over advanced timing. Ie the burn is happening before the inlet has closed.

Changing the exhaust could affect the bike this way when cold, not really up to date yet on these mopeds.

Has it got a Lambda sensor?
