Marco is speaking of an external filter which not all bikes have. I prefer to use a belt wrench to remove them and tighten them with a pensioners jam jar opener. I'll post a pic later. I have had success with those supplied by http://www.motorworks.co.uk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; which are the gas canister and strip type. Unfortunately I didn't have it on that bike last night and don't think it would of coped with that rip anyway.
