Re: Newbie
Welcome!
The cat and fiddle is great fun even on a 125. Go from Buxton side so it's downhill on the fun part once you're on the run into Mac it's great .

Re: New bike, first big bike!
A custom one sounds good! I don't fancy chopping the standard one as it's worth a few quid apparently they're hard to get hold of. That ideas on hold for now anyway as I *had* to buy a full stainless exhaust system  http://i.imgur.com/SnCG7je.jpg My next task is syncing the throttle bodies ...

I thought £500 for the year on my CBR was good, I paid more on my 125 last year

Hello!
I've just got a CBR600, early 00's rather than late 90s (fuel injection rather than carbs). I have to say it's very good, enjoying every minute of it . I always wanted a sports bike though and it does not dissapoint!

Re: New bike, first big bike!
Cheers lads, can anyone point me in the direction of a tail tidy? Its a pain on this as the rear seat lock is part of the standard fixture and I can't find anything on the web.

New bike, first big bike!
Picked up this last night, rode it back in the rain from Stafford to Stockport in the dark!
Very happy with it, really clean and well looked after. Lots of service history and no marks anywhere

I went with papillion, they're in didsbury, manchester though so may be a little far for you - although they're very good.
